Aggregating a high frequency of machine data on a consistent basis in the Cassia long-range router translates into better statistically-derived data for business decisions regarding machine health.
“Manual data collection is only feasible for small installations and not possible in closed locations” noted Heisterkamp.” Now, wireless connectivity between Cassia’s all-weather, enterprise-grade X1000 long-range Bluetooth router and ABB Ability™ Smart Sensors is real-time, reliable, and scalable.

Currently deploying worldwide, the Cassia routers can connect via Wi-Fi or Ethernet where a network infrastructure is in place or – where a network infrastructure is not in place – the Cassia routers can deliver ABB Ability™ Smart Sensor data via 3G/4G connectivity.
